We went through level one learning coursebook, these are my notes.
At the end of one syllable words usually double s, f, or l when they come right after a short vowel.
I learned about chunking, which is where if you don't understand something you can try to understand the first "chunk", then the next, and the next until you understand the whole thing
I learned that if you have a consonant before the "k" there is no "c". "truck" "trunk"
the suffix ful has
ONE L
grateful
hopeful
helpful
careful
we are doing this so I can learn grammar, we decided to start at a low level to review all the rules
